Top Ten New Wii Games for 2010
As the decade closed out, the talk of the gaming industry was still with the Nintendo Wii. This was the little console that brought families closer together as casual gamers came into the fold waving that magic Wii remote about. With newly minted Wii fans, they might be looking for more and here are the top ten Wii games that are making the most buzz for the year 2010.
Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars
In this ultimate fighting game, the Tatsunoko and Capcom universe collide with 20 characters to choose from in a fighting bonanza. Get ready for a workout as you get to pick your battle either online or offline. There are also four modes to suit your fancy: Friend, Rival, Free and Ranked Bttles. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars is a party favorite game for fight veterans or newbies alike.
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle
Mature Wii game fans will welcome the return of anti-hero Travis Touchdown as he as he fights his way from the bottom rungs of an assassin’s league underground to become the #1 assassin! It’s fun but in a bloody way.
It was only a matter of time when the hugely popular Lego franchise met the equally popular Harry Potter franchise. Expect the same zany cuteness as Lego versions of your favorite Hogwart students go through events from books 1-4 in the series. This game title will undoubtedly please Lego and Harry Potter fans alike.
Red Steel 2 is a first person shooter game rated M but this is very deserving (in a good sense). This beautifully rendered game uses the Wii MotionPlus to its full advantage as you swing swords and your hacks and slices are accurately replicated on screen. Oh yeah, did I mention there are guns?
It’s man versus beast in this third person action game as man faces fantastic beasts of land and sea. Go on hunts with online friends (up to 4 co-op play) or play locally in 2 player co-op mode. Can’t find anybody to play with? No problem as a friendly AI will go hunting with you. A gorgeous adventure awaits for you and your friends in Monster Hunter Tri.
